$5,000 Phi Delta Kappa International. Site Excerpt: “Scholarship Grants for Prospective Educators. This program is for current high school seniors whose intended college major is education. Applications may be requested each year between October and January.”
 
$1,000 FTE Scholarship. Site Excerpt: “The Foundation for Technology Education announces the availability of a $1,000 student for an undergraduate student majoring in technology education teacher preparation. The award is based upon interest in teaching, academic ability and faculty recommendations.”
 

$5,000 Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Scholarship. Site Excerpt: “Availability: Applications are made available in January of each year. Deadline: Postmarked on or before March 15 of each year. Announcements: Scholarship recipients are announced in June of each year.”


 
$5,000 Indiana Minority Teacher/Special Education Scholarship. Site Excerpt: “Preference will be given to minority students and students enrolling in college for the first time.  Scholarships are non-transferable between universities.”

$20,000 Society of Manufacturing Engineers Scholarships. $5,000 National Society of Black Engineers Scholarship. Site Excerpt: “Individual scholarships range in value from $500 to $5,000. In 2004, we will introduce a new NSBE Scholarship Program that merges our former Member of the Year Program and the Distinguished Fellow Program.”

$1,000 Minority Alpha Kappa Alpha Scholarships. Site Excerpt: “Unmet financial need scholarships are awarded to students who, in addition to good academic standing, need financial assistance in order to complete a particular program of study. These awards, which range from $750 to $1,500, are typically given to individuals who have endured great hardship to accomplish their educational goals and aspirations.”
 
$2,000 General John A. Wickham Scholarship. Site Excerpt: “Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and working toward a degree in electrical, computer, chemical or aerospace engineering, computer science, physics, or mathematics, and must have a GPA of 3.5 on 4.0 scale or better.”
 
$4,000 Society of Plastic Engineers Society. Site Excerpt: “10-12 undergraduate scholarships range up to $4,000 annually. Scholarships are awarded for one year only, but applicants may apply for a re-awarded for up to three additional years.”
